ALABEL, Sarangani (July 15, 2022) - Provincial Administrator Atty. Ryan Jay R. Ramos (3rd from right) inspects the old Capitol building on July 15 to check for damages caused by the flooding after a heavy rainfall yesterday, July 14. Ramos was accompanied by Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Raquel Panal (2nd from left), Engr. Ramos said the first Capitol building should be taken care of because it is part of the history of Sarangani and is declared as one of the cultural properties of the province per the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009, under Resolution No. 2020-10-038.
Rene A. Punzalan, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, told the inspection team the cause of the flooding was the manhole located in the center of the building.
