Sarangani LGUs bag awards in 8th CMCI Awarding

KORONADAL CITY (March 28, 2022) – Local Economic Investment Promotions Officers (LEIPOs) and Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) coordinators of Sarangani receive several awards during the 8th CMCI Regional Awarding Ceremony on March 24 at Narra Function Hall, Cinco Niñas in Koronadal. Municipal local government units of Alabel, Malungon, Maasim, Kiamba, and Malapatan were among the top-performing 1st and 2nd class municipalities in the country. During the ceremony, the Regional Competitiveness Committee awarded Alabel as rank 38 in the overall competitiveness out of the 508 1st and 2nd class municipalities in the country, rank 190 in Economic Dynamism, 48 in Government Efficiency, 28 in Infrastructure, and 17 in Resiliency. The municipality of Malungon also ranked 46 in overall competitiveness, 209 in Economic Dynamism, 81 in Government Efficiency, 47 in Infrastructure, and 9 in Resiliency. Maasim on the other hand placed 70 in overall competitiveness, 133 in Economic Dynamism, 146 in Government Efficiency, 74 in Infrastructure, and 23 in Resiliency. Also, Kiamba ranked 117 overall, 321 in Economic Dynamism, 87 in Government Efficiency, 130 in Infrastructure, and 42 in Resiliency. Also, Malapatan ranked 155 overall, 294 in Economic Dynamism, 254 in Government Efficiency, 157 in Infrastructure, and 30 in Resiliency.
