ALABEL, Sarangani (March 20, 2022) – Dr. Imelda Quiñones (center), chief of hospital II of SOCCSKSARGEN Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DATRC), and Atty. Sunny Rye Nogalo (left), DATRC legal officer, present a plaque of appreciation to Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (right) on March 18 in recognition of the provincial government’s contribution in donating the 3,000 square meters of 6,707.56 square meters floor area of the center. The DATRC, which was inaugurated in December 2018, sits on a hill at Barangay Kawas, overlooking Sarangani Bay and General Santos City, and adjacent to the Provincial Police Office. It was a project established in order to address the need for more rehabilitation centers for PWUDs or persons who use drugs.
