STIPC distributes Globe’s Covid-19 protocol standees to tourism sites

ALABEL, Sarangani (March 15, 2021) – Globe Telecommunications donates 50 pieces of 3x5 ft. health and safety protocol standees to the provincial government of Sarangani thru the Sarangani Tourism, Investment and Promotion Center (STIPC) on March 15. These standees are then distributed to some of the recently re-opened tourism sites and establishments all over Sarangani to remind tourists to always observe and follow Covid-19 protocols while having fun during their vacation. According to Provincial Tourism Officer April Marjorie Rudes, the first batch of standees will be initially “intended for accredited tourism sites and establishments and those who have tourist arrivals.” “The second batch, dahil may ni-request pa akong additional standees from Globe, then we will extend to other resorts base sa among na-profile na,” she added. Despite the pandemic, Rudes said Sarangani remains first in Region 12 in day tourist arrivals. (Jake Narte – Jori Mae Samillano/SARANGANI PROVINCIAL INFORMATION OFFICE)
