Water security roadmap of Sarangani planned with USAID

ALABEL, Sarangani (March 8, 2021) – Guests from the USAID Philippines visit Sarangani to pay courtesy to Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon and the rest of the provincial officials on March 8 at the Capitol conference room. They presented the key findings of the water baseline assessment and the water security planning framework of USAID’s Safe Water project for Sarangani. According to Engr. Gerald Faciol, assistant provincial administrator for operations, the Manila-based team came to Sarangani to “validate and assess the existing situation when it comes to water supply in the province and they will conduct studies like hydrologic studies to address the issues.” Via Zoom, Governor Solon; John Edgar, USAID Director for the Environment Office; and Joanne Dulce, contracting officer’s representative for USAID Safe Water Project, discussed with Vice Governor Elmer de Peralta; Engr. Faciol; Board Member Irish Arnado-Benola, chairperson of the Committee on Health; Alma Porciuncula, chief of party; and the rest of the members of the USAID team the plans for the water security roadmap of Sarangani.
