CMCI coordinators, LEIPOs gather

MALUNGON, Sarangani (February 23, 2021) – Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) coordinators and Local Economic and Investment Promotions Officers (LEIPOs) from the seven municipalities of Sarangani convene on February 17 for the CMCI 2020 Provincial Awards and 1st Quarter Meeting at Mc Auce Hill in barangay Banahaw. Milbie Daguro (standing), CMCI provincial coordinator, thanked all the coordinators and staff from the different local government units (LGUs) for their hardwork and congratulated the municipalities who placed in the ranking. Daguro, together with the staff from the Sarangani Investment Division and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Sarangani), awarded the municipalities that excelled in the different CMCI pillars which are Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, and Resiliency. The CMCI is an annual ranking developed by the National Competitiveness Council through the Regional Competitiveness Council with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development to stimulate competition among local government units.
