Gov. Solon shares Covid-19 “leadership” to Koronadal execs

ALABEL, Sarangani (October 7, 2020) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon attends the benchmarking activity of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Koronadal City to Sarangani Province on September 29 at the conference room, JLC building. The benchmarking was purposely done to show how Sarangani implements its contact tracing interventions and discuss the good practices of the province in its continuous fight against Covid-19. LGU Koronadal was headed by city administrator Atty. Rene Jumilla who learned about the initiatives done by Sarangani to hamper the spread of Covid-19 particularly on the unified decisions, guidelines, leadership, and its command and control. During the discussion, “leadership” was emphasized as one of the important components of an effective formula to combat Covid-19. Dr. Arvin Alejandro, provincial health officer, said that “leadership” is very important “to have a unified command” and “to sail into one direction”.
