Gov. Solon thanks LDSC for thousands of PPEs

ALABEL, Sarangani (August 11, 2020) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (2nd from right, seated) signs the instrument of donation and acceptance with the Latter-Day Saints Charities (LDSC) on August 7 at the conference room, JLC building. The LDSC donated thousands of personal protective equipment (PPE) intended for the frontline workers in Sarangani. Solon shared how the delivered PPEs could be a great help in the province in this time of the pandemic. “Dito kasi sa Sarangani, lesser talaga yung PPEs na dumarating compared to other bigger provinces and cities like in the NCR, so the tendency is we keep on reusing our PPEs,” Solon said. He added, “through these blessings na dumarating, mas magiging lesser na yung time ng pag-reuse ng ating mga frontliners ng kanilang mga PPE.” The turnover was made possible through Undersecretary Robert Eric Borje, Chief of Protocol and Presidential Assistant on Foreign Affairs; BGen. Rodylyn Manzano, Chairman of the Naval Reserve Command Multi-Sectoral Linkaging Committee against Covid-19; Roxane Gochuico of Cebu Pacific Corporate Responsibility; and Pepito Lagamayo of the Office of the President. Lagamayo said “these partners who were with us in this venture moved mountains to ensure that these medical supplies will arrive dito sa Sarangani.” (Jake Narte-Joshua John Pantonial/SARANGANI PROVINCIAL INFORMATION OFFICE)
