5th Placer in LET transformed hardship into motivation

ALABEL, Sarangani (July 13, 2020) – (From left) Board Member Arman Guili, Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, Board Member Eduardo Paras Sr. (Liga ng mga Barangay president) and Board Member Rheymar Dian (Panlalawigang Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan president) congratulate Dimple Mangalon (center), one of the topnotchers of the September 2019 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) from Sarangani. Mangalon was honored on July 10 during the joint Provincial Peace and Order Council and Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Abuse Council (PPOC-PADAC) 2nd Quarter Meeting at the provincial gymnasium. Mangalon who is from Barangay Spring, Alabel ranked 5th in the elementary level. She graduated at Mindanao State University-General Santos City and took up Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education. Six other topnotchers from Sarangani were recognized and received cash assistance from the Provincial Local Government Unit of Sarangani. Mangalon said “sa akong pag-sulod og college, nakaagi gyud og kalisod ang akong pamilya, kay upat mi mag-igsuon, si papa kay usa ra ka ice truck driver, si mama kay housekeeper pero gigamit nako ang among sitwasyon para maging inspiration para mag-succeed, wala ko na-discourage instead, gi-transform nako siya as motivation.” (Jake Narte-Joshua John Pantonial/SARANGANI PROVINCIAL INFORMATION OFFICE)
