Gov. Solon: Whole province supports IPEACE of TESDA

ALABEL, Sarangani (June 24, 2020) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon acknowledges guests and participants during the launching of Indigenous People Empowered as Agripreneurs towards a Collective End (IPEACE) program on June 23 at Purok New Bohol, Barangay Alegria. Solon said “gusto nako ipaabot ang suporta sa tibuok probinsya sa Sarangani sa IPEACE program ng TESDA and rest assured na we will do anything that we can do to support this because I believe na ang makaka-lessen ng impact ng Covid sa buong Pilipinas ngayon is really agriculture.” Solon reminded the participants to observe and practice the minimum health protocols of the new normal scheme. “You have to protect yourselves now in the crisis brought by Covid-19 og karon nga naa na ta sa Modified General Community Quarantine ang buot pasabot ani, dili na gunit sa gobyerno sa pangpag-amping sa kalawasan sa matag indibidwal tungod ubay-ubay na ta nga makagawas and do certain things na gusto nato buhaton. Tong ECQ, quarantine ta tanan, ang gobyerno ang niatiman og nialalay sa inyo pero karon nga MGCQ na, we really have to seriously take care of ourselves,” he added. The event was attended by the IPEACE beneficiaries, key persons from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency; Landbank of the Philippines, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority; Departments of Agrarian Reform; Interior and Local Government; Trade and Industry; and Sarangani and Alabel local officials.
