CDT device for fishing sector from USAID

MAITUM, Sarangani (September 17, 2018) - Rosalind Sichon (2nd from right) of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) hands over a desktop computer, HP Laserjet printer, a Samsung Galaxy tab A with S pen and Sony LED 55" 4K TV to Municipal Administrator Ruben Balanag (extreme right) at the Maitum Municipal Hall on September 9. The equipment will be used as catch documentation and traceability (CDT) device to document the harvest, processing and transport of seafood from the ocean to the market that will improve fisheries management, combat illegal fishing, track down unreported and undocumented fishing and monitor fishing boats’ whereabouts.
