GLAN, Sarangani (August 17, 2012) – Children of families affected by a flashflood last June received on Tuesday (August 14) bags loaded with school supplies and toys from Aboitiz Foundation and SOCOTECO ll.

A total of 1,594 children in the barangays of Pangyan, Big Margus, Small Margus and Cross benefited from the donation.

There were 350 selected pupil recipients in Pangyan Elemetary School, 670 in Big Margus Elementary School, 175 in Small Margus Elementary School and 399 in Young Elementary School.

Aboitiz account officer Theodore Bisnar said the distribution of bags was made possible thru a “concerted effort” of ABS-CBN, the provincial government of Sarangani, the Quality Education for Sarangani Today and SOCOTECO ll.
