Sarangani hosts Grand Iftar for Capitol employees and constituents

ALABEL, Sarangani (August 16, 2012) – The provincial government through the Kalinaw Sarangani Unit is on the 4th year of organizing a Grand Iftar for its Muslim employees and constituents. On Wednesday, August 15, provincial Muslim employees, Muslim leaders from SOCSARGEN and provincial officials gathered at the Capitol gym for the Grand Iftar celebration. Iftar refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the Islamic month of Ramadhan. It is one of the religious observances of Ramadhan and is often done as a community, with Muslims gathering to break their fast together. (Cocoy Sexcion/SARANGANI INFORMATION OFFICE)
