MAITUM, Sarangani (July 17, 2012) – Kabalikat Civicom members in partnership with the local government unit (LGU) of Maitum built a temporary daycare school building (background) for the 37 kids of sitio Mantolan of barangay Maguling during the weekend. The LGU Maitum provided the lumber while a tarpaulin which serves as its roof was provided by Kabalikat Civicom. The 37 kids used to have their class under a jackfruit tree which exposed them to the elements. Sitio Mantolan is 2 kilometers away from the barangay proper. (Joylyn Ty/MAITUM INFORMATION OFFICE)
