Provincial government led tree planting activity

ALABEL, Sarangani (June 29, 2012) – Board Member Virgilio Clark Tobias
leads provincial employees in a tree planting activity organized by
the provincial government through the Provincial Environment and
Natural Resources Office Friday, June 29, at the Calminda watershed
area in barangay Paraiso. Volunteers from Alabel National Science High
School, Philippine National Police, municipal employees, Barangay
Council of Paraiso, Alcantara Foundation, Environmental Conservation
and Protection Center and the community also participated and planted
2,000 rubber seedlings from Development Bank of the Philippines, 1,000
rubber and 300 mahogany seedlings as the provincial government’s
counterpart. The event is in celebration of Environment Month.
