World Vision and Alcantara Foundation organize mangrove planting activity

MAASIM, Sarangani (June 25, 2012) – World Vision and Alcantara
Foundation organize a mangrove planting and growing activity at the
shore of barangay Tinoto Monday, June 25, to celebrate National Arbor
Day. Fishermen associations from Sapu Masla and Lasang in Malapatan
propagated the mangroves from where World Vision purchased 10,000
mangrove seedlings to be planted at Tinoto and 3,000 seedlings by
Alcantara Foundation as part of their commitment to plant 50,000
