On January 14, 2002, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan
of Sarangani Province enacted Ordinance No. 2002-020, or the
Ordinance Enacting the Sarangani Province Investments Code.
It was signed by Gov. Miguel D. Escobar on March 1, 2002.
