A safe Sarangani through community empowerment

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (October 25, 2018) – Sarangani Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon signs the manifesto of commitment in preventing and countering violent extremism during the Launching of Oplan Kapanalig with the theme “A safe Sarangani through community empowerment” on October 23 attended by municipal and barangay officials of Sarangani. Formerly known as Oplan Mapayapa, Kapanalig is acronym for “Kapag Palaging Nandyan ikaw ay Ligtas”, the approach of involving community leaders in creating networks to the concerned government agencies or partners.
