Since it became a province in 1992, Sarangani has evolved from
a dusty district of South Cotabato to a vibrant and promising
province that has boldly set sail into the exciting world of development.
By 2009, Sarangans envision their province
as a self-sustaining, globally competitive agri-industrial economy
where opportunities abound and people are provided with basic
social services. Empowered by this vision, Sarangans are eagerly
taking up the challenge of creating a productive province, committing
to each other the value of transparency and God-centered governance.
With the dream of a better quality of life,
the present administration is exploring every means to push
forward its principal mission of advancing the economic development
of the province through projects geared towards increasing productivity.
Innovative ways are being consistently pursued to improve the
people’s skills and competence to respond to investors’
discriminating standards. Government infrastructure projects
are likewise carefully being programmed to support existing
industries.
Central to the mission of the provincial government
is to develop the area’s human capital through the efficient
delivery of basic social services such as health, education,
shelter and infrastructure. Sarangans take pride in the fact
that they are a multi-cultural people who have developed a harmonious
relationship with one another. Together, they have worked for
the social and political stability of the region knowing full
well that these are necessary steps towards the advancement
of their province.
Committed to excellence and motivated
by a dynamic spirit for constant improvement, the provincial
government now invites investors to take a keen look at Sarangani
as a land of immense potentials.
