When
I assumed office in July 2004, my pledge to my fellow Sarangans
was to usher in a new Sarangani, one that truly upholds the
principles of unity, progress, and good governance.
Sarangani is rich in many different ways. Its
natural amenities are abundant. Its cultural wonders are diverse.
Its forests harbor endangered wildlife. Many agribusiness firms
have made Sarangani their home over the last decades, mainly
because of the stable peace and order situation and the gentle
climate.
Indeed, Sarangani has potential. And because
of this great promise, we Sarangans have committed ourselves
to work as a team, to uphold dignity in public service, and
to gear up for equitable growth for all.
Building on these values, we now open the doors
of this fine province to investors and tourists. So come and
visit Sarangani. This may yet be your best discovery.
