HEAD OF MEDICAL MISSION :: KIAMBA, Sarangani (May 30, 2008) – Dr. William Olalia (center), head of the University of Santo Tomas - Medical Mission Inc. (UST-MMI) who arrived Friday morning, May 30, converts a classroom in Kiamba Central Elementary School into an operating room for major surgeries on a week-long medical mission in town. With the 82 doctors and medical staff joined by UST alumni medical practitioners from General Santos City Doctors Hospital and Sultan Kudarat Doctors Hospital, UST-MMI brings its largest medical mission ever to Kiamba for major surgical, ophthalmologic and dental operations.
