LIVELIHOOD ::
ALABEL, Sarangani (May 20, 2008) � Barangay chairman Caris Salimama (center) of Datal Anggas, a former rebel-infested village, thanks his community's livelihood program sponsors Globe and the Alcantara Foundation Inc. Monday, May 19, at the flag ceremony of Alabel Municipal Hall. Cecile Dominguez (extreme left), executive director of Alcantara Foundation Inc. said the project gives opportunity to village residents. The Globe Bridging Communities Program cited the efforts of the local government of Alabel for partnering with them in training 40 former combatants in basket weaving.
