SUMMER READING PROGRAM :: ALABEL, Sarangani (April 11, 2008) – Cecile Dominguez, executive director of Alcantara Foundation, gives the overview at the launching program of the “Sarangani Big Brother: Reading is fun!” Thursday, April 10, at Alabel municipal gymnasium. This 20-day mentoring program where youth volunteers act as big brothers and sisters to Grade III pupils in their respective barangays is spearheaded by Sangguniang Kabataan in partnership with Department of Education, provincial government of Sarangani and Alcantara Foundation.
